can't wait til Tuesday wen i can visit the Uniqlo store!! the line today was so long, hopefully it'll be quieter on a weekday.  it's nearly been 7 years since my first n only visit in Japan!

someone replied to my Gumtree ad! (selling stuff)

first proper weekend since a while ;) made corn fritters with bacon/avocado/sour cream/sweet chilli for breakfast, and watched life of pi and the amazing spider man.

i have finished fourth year of vet school & will never have to attend classes again!! (well, besides lectures i actually want to attend as part of compulsory continuing education after graduation)

bring on internship year X) so terrifying but exciting at the same time!

there is.... A NEW LEMONY SNICKET BOOK!!! it's the 1st in a series of 4 about Lemony Snicket's life (an autobiography) set before the time of Series of Unfortunate Events books...

the new series is called: All the Wrong Questions, and the 1st book is, "Who Could That Be at This Hour?"

Yay, i have a vet clinic to go to for my small animal rotation next year X)) Also, gonna help out at the Easter Show tomorrow - hopefully gonna be checking a lot of cats! a friend who went there yesterday when the bunnies were being shown checked 180 buns :O!

finally finished all my placement reports!! WHEEEE!! back to holiday-mode again :DDDD!

p.s. turns out that having a happy brain makes you wake up earlier being in a happy mood too! it's only 7:30am now even though i slept at 2am last night! ahhhh this feels nice ;D

it's "like rubber in a tube" that you can use to patch cracks/holes, adhere stuff together - the possibilities are endless! they even have a picture of it used to join two bricks together with a hinge!

yes, 'tis indeed!

now it just seems like Sugru is an imitation of this product (it even sounds similar 0_O) . this seems way cheaper too....
anyway, i'm gonna get some to mend holes in my sneakers. yippeeee!

finally finished all my farm placements XD!

shiba

the first shiba inu i have ever seen! couldn't stop squealing, the owner inside the shop (that we also went in to) probably thought i was weird being obsessed with their pet... he/she was so cute and fluffy like a teddy bear x)!! but personality-wise, not friendly to strangers :( no reaction at all and slightly wary... i was afraid it'll growl if i put my hand any closer to its nose to smell... i wish it was more friendly, would've made a nicer first encounter :s.

came home today to find a package from Wet & Wendy! the 'weatherwear' online store selling raincoats (stylish ones with pockets yo!) and umbrellas! turns out it was from the Frankie mag giveaway i entered some time ago :)




anyway, it's so pretty and blue and grey that i wouldn't mind some light rain to come x)

visit their store to see more rainy day goods - they also have standard/non-folding umbrellas! (and they're having a 50% off change of season sale until the 15th september!)

it's my BAGGU daypack!

i was slightly worried about it being too small (mainly looking at photos uploaded on their facebook page, of it being worn on normal-sized males, and the description of it being 10.2cm deep) but after dumping stuff in, turns out it can fit quite a lot! (yes. bags CAN deform!)
apparently it's also strong enough to hold 20kg worth of items! though i still wouldn't want to make any scratches with a sharp textbook corner or something.. it's my new baby ;) (i don't actually know what ripstop nylon is capable of. can you tear a hot air balloon with a textbook? hm probably not.) anyway. i should be studying right now. and i shall do that. meanwhile, bask in the beauty of grey. my current favourite colour.

ahhhhh... just realised that there aren't any lectures on monday.. and so i will have a four day weekend! ; )
